No matter if your ideals are hurtful or kind, everyone has the freedom of speech and press. But... What people don't realize is that you still have to make your words (or in this case; Facebook profile) sweet, because there may come a time that you may have to swallow them yourself. And even though people say,"I can say and do whatever I want!!!", their actions may not effect just themselves, but the people they love. This is a prime example of that.

Also, jokes about slavery are not necessarily jokes about racism, and therefore not "blatantly racist". Also, a few pictures are not "racist rants". Also, making fun of Obama is not racist (he doesn't get to be immune to jokes simply because he's not white). Also, colleges shouldn't "discipline" students for having a poor sense of humor.
