Originally 25th Street Theater Dance club relocated to Dallas from Waco. Richard Olsen and Richard K were partners that owned the club. The club surpassed the Lizard Lounge & was at Stark Club recognition until Little Richard was tragically murdered in the club.

In an effort to save the club and boost attendance this video was shot as a promo. A good friend shared the only tape of this video and now I am sharing it with the world. I would like to say thank you to Big Richard, Rob Bob and to everyone else in my life that has inspired me to be the DJ I am today.

Please enjoy the video and share it with others. This movie theater is no longer standing due to a fire around 2006 that completely destroyed the entire building and other businesses attached to this 100 year old theater.

For those who have never been to 25th Street Theater before it moved to Dallas please review the video 25th Street Theater Lighting Demo in my profile.

Please note the 25th Street Theater Reunion will take place Sept. 3, 2011 in Waco. Please goto Facebook and do a search for more details. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

  • Holy cow!!!! Thank you for posting this!

Out of all the places I went to when I was a kid, Arcadia on Sunday nights was my favorite place to dance... especially before the Lizard Lounge started up the Church on a regular basis.

    Man this brings back memories...

  • @GhouledKS Glad to hear you liked it. Special thnx to Rob Bob for saving most of the videos before he left the club. I loved going to the club when I could. You should have went to it before it moved to Dallas when it was in Waco as 25th Street! Have a great New Year.

  • Sorry bro. I did not know the owner of that club.

  • @DJLoop1995 I wish I could've. By the time it moved to Dallas I was just hitting the age of "not quite 18" and pushing my luck with fake or "lost" IDs. Lol!

Have a great year too! Thanks again!

  • Well said and what a fun Club that made you feel alive.
