This is my review on the new van halen song tattoo. This song will appear on their new album A Different Kind of Truth due out in February of this year. It will also include a deluxe addition and will have a DVD called The Downtown Sessions, which will contain acoustic versions of popular Van Halen songs such as "Panama", "You and Your Blues", "Beautiful Girls", and "You Really Got Me".
Some various rants and comparisons between the new song and the Van Halen 3 album with Gary Cherone. I do band interviews on my Stickam page www.stickam.com/dewman92 You can also contact me on facebook at www.facebook.com/metalbandnetwork

  • THE NEW VAN HALEN 2012 LINE UP:

Lead Guitar - Liquor store Eddie

    Lead Vocals - Steve Martin

Drums - Moe the Bartender (of Simpsons fame)

    Bass- Rosie O'Donnel

Steve Martin really does a great job at front man. He does shitty elvis and hula girl impressions mixed with a lil Michael Jackson. Rosie O'Donnel has the stage presence of an autistic mannequin and Eddie and Steve have zero chemistry on stage in the video. look at the 53 second mark. Eddie wants to sing together. dave looks away

  • @krazykracka33 thats hilarious

  • I love Van Halen and the new Single, Tattoo... but ohhhhh my.... this is horrible to listen to. Sorry.

  • @SQUAREHEAD69 well thats cool everyone has their own opinion and thats ok :)

  • @dewman92 Good thing they punk'd us -- it's the only "weak" song on an otherwise heavy, classic sounding VH album. I've heard the whole thing and it WHOMPS!

  • @SgtTravisBickle ive heard the same thing about it. I thought Tattoo is great and if thats the worse song then im anxious to hear the rest...i hear its like 1984

  • @dewman92 I don't know about it being similar to 1984, it rocks more like the albums before that... maybe closer to Diver Down. There's really no keyboards or synth that I can recall, so it's more guitar oriented. The guitar work is Eddie all the way, but with a more modern sound. He's using Whammy Pedals a bit and some nice harmonizers that give him this heavy, alien sounding triple-tracked tone... listen to Honeybabysweetiedoll... it's here on Youtube.

  • @Pjaynes781 yes that is an awesome song :)

  • @TheSlothStyle hey thanks its my first review but ill have more soon. thanks for watching
