Gunny has overcome tremendous obstacles, including his use as a "bait dog" in dog fighting, and the 3 major surgeries he had to endure to recover from his related injuries. He has gone on to become a local celebrity with his very own, unofficial, fan club. This is a slideshow to show the contrast of his reality when he was rescued by North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue, as compared to the life he now enjoys.
