The Luxe Series [Carolina Broad]

A character video on the fictional scheming social climber Lina Broud (aka Carolina Broad) in Anna Godbersen's The Luxe series. LOOSE interpretation based on the portrayal in the books, Lina is meant to be represented as a mercenary girl whose bitterness over her lack of fortune is one day miraculously reversed by her becoming the companion of Carey Lewis Longhorn, an aging bachelor who provides her with an entree into society. Even more fortunately, when he dies, he leaves Lina as the sole heir to his property and possessions. Now a true heiress, Lina finds herself intrigued with catching the heart of quirky and handsome bachelor Leland Bouchard who seems to reciprocate her feelings but what will happen when her past finally catches up with her?
