You made good point here and I noticed that there are some who are refuting this video you made and they are word dancing around the facts you brought to light. These leaders of the JW’s do seem to mimic the Pharisees and the followers don’t even know it but only repeat what their leaders have said and no thorough solo research has been done by any of them, or if they have they wont question it due to whatever reason (Making sure of all things like the Boreans is out the window for them).

I've been to parties that JW's hosted with dancing. I've been offered alcoholic drinks from witnesses. No one can be honored more than a visiting overseer except a guest speaker from bethel. I remember when a young man stated he was one of the 144,000 the sisters were so excited thinking that whoever married him would have a direct connection with God's kingdom. I don't celebrate birthdays but it's not forbidden in the Bible.

The bible directly states that God urges people to avoid partying and instead reflecting of life, to use it for good because it can end anytime. Eccleciastes 7:1-4. Birthdays bring honor to the birthday person, and this is like a form of worship. It is important to be kind to people everyday, not just on their b-day. Birthday origins are of pagan beginnings. Research it and you will see the man of this video didn't complete all his research. He is presumptuous, and not using the bible enough.

@xxsoutherncowboyxx I've been at a few different bible studies and we use up to 5 different bibles to look up the scriptures. Each bible study conductor may chose differently. I like to use as many different bibles as I can so it helps you understand the text better. I know alot of Witnesses cross-reference different bibles. The Watchtower Society quotes from different bibles all the time.

I know what we believe in, dont worry!
Are you Jewish or so? that Jesus still will come back on earth?
Jesus is indeed already back, in 1914 he was crowned as the King! (research Biblical prophecy)
In that position he starts to reign over all of us, helping the slave(Watchtower society) with understading Gods word and leading us all.
This all started with Jesus as Michael, attacking the dragon or Satan.(Revelations)

@murderboytje I wanted to tell you why i left the jw one of my co-workers told me you no jw believe that Jesus has already returned and i was like noway i study with them and they said jesus will return and raise they dead those who hear his voice will come forth. So when we had our bible study i told them that and he said that Jesus is already here guiding the watchtower organization and will not psychically ever return that we wont see him .. Find out for yourself dont take my word peace..
what's the point in celebrating then explain that in a video.

@kingtraxz4life The point of celebrating (for instance) my daughters birthday is praising God for the wonderful gift of life that He has given.

@21crosscheck21 Well if that was the case, you can praise God any day of the year that day is all about your daughter, witnesses are not commanded to not celebrate birthdays but the reason and purpose is brought into question, its totally up to your conscience to how you want to do it, I am not a Jehovah witness but when comparing their teachings with other churches they just stand out among them all, I also feel that any religion that promotes Xmas is false because God is no part of a lie.

@kingtraxz4life Actually you are quite wrong. If you get caught celebrating a birthday you will be disfellowshipped.... and that means you lose your salvation. Romans 14 gives people the liberty to set aside a "special day" as their conscience allows. The WT does not. That is clearly un biblical.
