I've been having incredibly lucid dreams lately featuring the music from the Hunger. Here is Trio in E Flat by Franz Shubert. This is one of my favorite of Shubert's. I had to get it out of my head and share it.

This film really made an impression on me when it came out. It is gorgeous and the music is breathtaking. Another recent film that has the same deep, touching quality to it but without music, unfortunately, is the Swedish film "Let the Right One In."

An absolutely hauntingly beautiful melancholy song.... saccharin, Mr. Blaylock would say. Yes, I think this is a great version, so lilting. The movie is a Classic, this piece of music is a classic.. and ever since I saw this movie for the first time it gave me a new found appreciation for it.. it became one of my favorites.

This has always been one of my favorite songs and movies. It helps that not just being a great movie, the Hunger was the first movie to really look at vampirism as a disease.
