  • This does not work very well, 2-3 smaller fans have a better effect than 1 big fan. I have a 17in laptop with 1 fan on each corner at the rear and this cooler does not make a difference. I even put a different fan that moves more cfm and still it is useless.

  • @EnforcerX69 We could have done a video on any of our laptop cooler, we choose this one because through our testing as well as reviews the huge 220mm quiet fan cools best. it covers all the laptop surface thus allows better cooling. Small fans are just simply too loud and don’t push much also may not match up with the vents as all laptops are design different. This cooler is quality and an excellent choice for both cooling and quiet!

  • Well.. the aluminium does not absorb heat. the aluminium does not get heat as quick as the iron or plastic. its just that. the question is:

This big fan is placed in the middle. it will blow air to the back of my laptop where he have his coolers. Is it ok?

  • @mpereirawolf aluiminum is a a highly used metal for heat disipation, that is why CPU coolers are made of aluminum not copper! yes as you can see in the video the fan is in the middle and is a large 220mm fan witch cover the base on the notebook.

  • The question is: Does it works? Does it cool???? my laptop gets warm in the middle and in the bottom left. does it will work?

    reply

    Kiss

  • @mpereirawolf Excellent reply by Queenie, this is our best selling cooler, it's quiet and blows a ton of air, close to 100 (cfm) and most important as Kris mentioned it spreads the airflow evenly through-out the base of the Notebook PC and the aluminum plate helps absorb the heat!

  • Ordered this today, I hope it comes soon so I can throw this plastic Microsoft cooler away lol

  • @mpereirawolf What? Aluminium is excellent heat conductor, one of best heat and electricity conductors. It has 59% of Copper conductivity, so its very good. Aluminium is used for coolers because it conducts heat, so it transfers it away from source.

  • @Queenie2Die4 The aluminum plate does not get "cooled down" by the fan; it would instead remain at room temperature. Metals with a higher density and thermal conductivity "feel" cool to the touch even when they are the same temperature. Water acts in the same way, where 40C feels cold despite being above your skin temp of ~35C. The aluminum here is used for its durability and aesthetics, not its thermal properties.

  • @acousticpc A good CPU cooler will be made of copper vice aluminum. Copper has a thermal conductivity around twice that of Al, and therefore performs significantly better as a thermal heat sink. The aluminum plate is used here for its structural integrity, light weight, and aesthetics. On this product, as the plate is not in direct contact with the base of the laptop, there is little additional heat transfer away from the laptop due to any materials used on the cooler.

  • did she say comparance?

  • it says comaptable with 17 inch laptops , well the cooler is 400 mm wide the dell studio 17 inch laptop is 415 mm wide so there will be overhang of 7 mm each side . you would have thought they would have made it to 420 mm wide so it covers all 17 inch laptops.

  • -.- The aluminium is not a good heat conductor. it dos not absorb heat. that's why he is used for coolers.

    the question was not answear.
