dear, the reason is that there was no separate entity at that time named Bangladesh it was called the East Wing Of Pakistan or East Pakistan, but both were a single state! ... West Pakistan was the real hub at that time! ... cuz it was a bigger and stronger wing of the both, if control was given away to that HEATHEN you talk about then there was no concept of a single state left ... & Bangladesh owes their freedom to Quaid just as much as Pakistan!
