This a re-rendering version with the complete ending in normal speed. I was trying to make it fit in 10 minutes limit but Youtube has seemed to extended to 10:59. Thank you for your rating and feedback.

  • I have a lap top computer, with some of your videos I have no problem with sound, the new ones seem to have no sound. This is a problem, I miss so much by not hearing you. There must be something I need to update. I wish I knew which program it is. I googled the problem today and I am not the only one with the problem on you tube. but noone had a solution.

Even without the sound I get a lot from your videos, I just know I would get so much more with your explanation.

    Have a great day.

  • The new ones are done with highest resolution because I just realized that Youtube now support up to 1G. It was under 100 MB before. They might serve different versions according to your connection speed. Do you guys notice the resolution is higher than before?

  • Nice video Henry. I hope that you come up with more videos like this and also keep this angle which is very good indeed!

I'd like to ask you if it's true that it's an offence for Chinese to find Simplified Characters on paintings rather then the traditional. I have studied chinese for a year and I have learned quite some characters but they're all in simplified. Is it good if simplified characters are applied on paintings?

Thanks and keep up the good work.

  • Simplified Chinese characters are mostly derived from the "short-out" form in hand-writing vs. printed script. They have been evolved for thousands of years. Though traditional Chinese are preserved in the art of calligraphy today, yes, you can write simplified Chinese on your paintings. They will really appreciate that, much better than you write English on Chinese painting. :-)

  • Do more instructional ones like this.

  • So helpful! I have been attempting to learn Chinese brush painting, but even when watching videos there are some little things I don't see, and my workbook doesn't mention them either. You brought out the little things. Thanks.

I am not an artistic person, but feel that perhaps I create something worthwhile with sumi . Thank you so much for making these videos! You are an excellant teacher!

  • I found in you tube help center an instructional video that suggested I download Realtek High Definition Audio Driver WDM-R198.. It works great, Now i can hear the audio part of your new videos. I am very happy.
