Hitler wasn't an atheist, i'd saw pictures and videos of Hitler with a Pope in the Olympiads. Do you know that almost every war in the history of the world was caused by religion? @Adeebster So what you're saying is that humankind relies on religion to be good? Why is it then that during a police strike in Montreal in 69, 6 banks were robbed, 100 shops looted, 40 carloads of glass broken, and overall, 3 million dollars worth of damage done? i think you mean we need police to be good. God was supposedly present during all this, I don't think the lack of police affected anyones faith did it? Yet they chose to be bad. (This was taken from Dawkings book "The God Delusion")
