Replay of the Mars500 hatch opening

At last the 'journey' is at an end for the Mars500 crew of six, who completed their simulated mission to Mars on 4 November. This video shows the replay of the live event with opening of the hatch and the egress of the crew, including the two ESA volunteers Romain Charles from France and Diego Urbina from Italy.

@eLLriDe420 This proves exactly what it was designed to prove. The Mars 500 mission showed that humans are psychologically capable of spending 520 days in an isolated enviroment. The inherent dangers of space travel were never part of the experiment.

this proves nothing. The real test will be millions of miles into the black empty void called space, with no help, so much that can go wrong, and total isolation. People will just snap and go crazy out in deep space

Why does Gordon Freeman have to be the one to open the hatch? Poor guy always gets the scientific grunt work.
