Several friends of mine from multiple bands in San Antonio, TX have been covering entire albums live and recently performed Funeral by the Arcade Fire at Broadway 5050 on September 29, 2010. This is a video of the entire show performed by Chris Maddin, Chuck Kerr, Libby Wardlaw, Marcus Rubio, Chris Guerra, Matt Thomas, and Meg Lobasso. It was filmed and edited by yours truly :)
This was their third album cover since the series began in July. In the past they have covered Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco and David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust. Next month they will be performing Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by the Flaming Lips, so make sure to check it out!

Very impressive (as are all of the other covers from the album... I just watched a bunch of them). The whole group did a great job of capturing the feel of all the songs. When I clicked on the Neighborhood #4 video and saw it was a cover, I certainly didn't expect it (or all the others) to be this lively!

That was really great. As a religious Arcade Fire fan, I never would have expected anyone to pull off such a straight cover in a convincing way, because who can match the magic and personality of the band? But somehow you guys were able to recreate some of their aura thanks to your enthusiasm and conviction. I loved both "Win" and "Regine"! :)

VERY nicely done. Arcade Fire covers are very difficult to pull off, but you guys did it.
