@TheFlapjackofFury how long ago did you did you try it because it is still being developed, and did you set your sound up with the wizard or just started talking.

i have to use push to talk because my Mic is super sensitive and i get a feedback loop if i don't, but voice activation worked for my friend just fine. Another possibility is that you set your quality low so it sounded bad.

@gream01 Tried Mumble once. Everyone sounded like ass and you had to use push-to-talk or you'd make everyone go deaf. No reason to use Mumble when you have Ventrilo and Skype.

for 2 or 3 people Skype is fine but for more i would suggest mumble.

and even for 2 mumble is less lag.
