it's not simple.. A lot of people think it is without understanding it. It's true, it doesn't have many elements - but it doesn't make it any easier to produce.
Each sound has to occupy a specific space, and has nothing to hide behind..
Another thing about techno that people miss when they're used to 'songs'-is that alot of the power is psychological - the ability to craft music that effectively hypnotizes is an art in itself.
It might not sound like much to you, but it is in no way simple..

its all about personal tastes, but being as objetive as i can, i believe its a bit simple (with not many layers / sounds).
If you like that its ok, but i dont.
what im trying to say is that saying "minus is the best thing that ever happened to me" is a bit exagerated, like "blind fanatism" (way too subjetive)
