@stillnessONtheWAY raag is the painting on the canvas of sound you are hearing. On the other hand a dilruba and esraj are very similiar instruments.

Your meend is so smooth, Bhai-sahib. It is a genuine inspiration to my practice. Shanta-raas shines from your heart. I appreciate you sharing your beautiful skill.

notes used in Raag Megh : Sa , Re Shudh , Ma Shudh , Pa , and Ni Komal I don't remember the Pakar and other details off hand, I need to be sitting with my Esraj to be able to play it.

Lovely Music, just wanted to know does this type of music have any religious significance? Thanks.

Indian classical music is meditative.. and a lot of great artists (Muslims and Hindus alike) say they use it as a means to connect to the Almighty.
Our Sikh Scriptures were also written with instructions to use Raags (Indian Classical Music) as a tool or vehicle to calm the mind and connect with the Universal Energy.
