HAHAH Judeo christian tradition!?!? THe tradition of Christmas was torturing Jews, forcing them to run naked through the streets of rome as catholics pelted them with rocks and raped the Jewish Women all as Pope Paul II cheered from his golden balcony! And this that was just a rip off of the Pagan holiday Saturnaria which involved running naked singing through the streets "caroling", murdering innocent scapegoated citizens, and forcing those scapegoats to give up their posessions (gift giving)!

thing is no atheist or person of another religion wants to ban christmas, these stories are a mix of a small amount of cultural sensitivity, some secularization and massive right wing tabloid mentalism.
only the jehovas witnesses want to ban xmas.
there is a book out in the uk this year called the atheists guide to christmas and a very popular atheist chritsmas variety show
