It's amazing to see all the comments from people who musically don't know what happened in this remix. Nobody was "1-up" -ing Kimbra. The fact that the complete chordal makeover and reconstruction of this song panned out so well makes this stand out among remixes. Really, really strikingly impressive remix.

@CallMePeaceWalker I don't really feel 'depressive' is the right word... more like desperate. The original feels like she is reaching down from heaven and pulling her love from the depths.
In this version, it sounds more like she is reaching out to the one that she loves that has just lost his way, trying to pull him back, but it's an actual effort to bring him into the light and by her side. The big difference with this one is that it doesn't ever really sound like she accomplishes her goal...

Wow, just when I thought Cameo Lover couldn't get any better, I listened to this!!
This is perfect, you made it sound almost depressive, it contrasts with the joy overload in the original, interesting twist. Masterpiece.
