@DocADHD I strongly agree with you I was diagnosed with ADHD around sixth grade but stopped taking the meds years ago. found myself consuming massive amounts of caffeine. I can get over the withdraws but then i really start bouncing off the walls. Funny how people say i should lay off the caffeine only after i stop using it.

@breeminevalentine for the most part I agree caffeine dose not do much for energy but it dose help me focus for a bit. And I take L-Theanine to help stop the bad side affects of caffeine.

I don't usually drink coffee but I did drink it quite alot earlier this year and it helped me focus and concentrate. Today, however, when I drank some coffee my concentration was down I couldn't stop fidgeting and (this isn't to do with the coffee) I was very impulsive.

Thanks for the info! I have seen a doc but not on adhd meds just yet. My dose of Lexapro has been increased. Nice to know I can get 30 minutes of focus on something!

I know a lot of people with ADHD, and it's a well-known fact that people with ADHD are not nearly as affected by Caffeine as people without it are. I have been told this by numerous pediatricians throughout my life.
I have ADHD, and I can drink any energy drink, take energy shots, and take caffeine pills, and it does absolutely nothing to me, or anyone else with ADHD, but make me sick from an overdose of caffeine.
The information in this video is not accurate, I regret to inform you.

@breeminevalentine It may not be accurate in your case, but many people with ADHD have increased focus with caffeine. In my experience with patients, several have chronic caffeine use, more so than the general population.
