Naim Popal - Khuda Buwad Yaarat

This beautiful song is a cover of the legendary Afghan singer Ahmad Zahir. Naim covered this song in 1984 in tribute to the legend. The music was arranged by the brilliant Iranian Songwriter/Arranger Manouchehr Cheshmazar with live instruments. It is from the album Ashena and Khomar. The video was originally recorded on Iranian TV in the 80's but remixed by Nazir Mardomi 2005.

You have a good voice and great talent... but with all due respect... this song was sung the best by the Legend himself Ahmad Zahir... if you would take my recommendation and with all humbleness, as a professional singer Mr. Popal should come up with more originals that have made him so famous in the Afghan community

This song was recorded back in 1984 with a brilliant arrangement by the most elite Iranian musicians world known. I think that Naim Popal has the utmost respect for the Legend Ahmad Zahir but simply sang this song out of sincere tribute to the Legend. When he covers another singers song that he respects, he sings it with his own style and voice and doesn't imitate. Naim Popal has plenty of his own original work and many more to come and I am sure that he will accept your humble recommendation.

Every singer has their own talent and portrays it in many different ways so for you to compare these two is like saying apples and oranges are the same thing. It doesn't make any sense! And I'm not just saying all this bcz I like him as a singer. At least he's not a poke like the rest of those so called singers we have now! He has talent! :)
