Madison, WI - Rep. Mark Pocan and Senator Jon Erpenbach have reintroduced the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act to allow seriously ill Wisconsin residents access to a medicine to ease their pain. This video was taken on 11/30/11 at a press conference in the Wisconsin state capitol to announce the reintroduction of the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act.

  • I can't believe that one reporter compared marijuana to opiates as a "gateway drug" that leads to heroine and other drugs! If marijuana was offered by physicians instead the opiates that they offer, that would lead to people not alternatively turning to heroine or pill abuse. That's how alot of heroine addicts admittedly get started. And "pills kill" so it is not a good treatment to use when marijuana can benefit the patient instead of a drug with deadly side-affects.
