West Somerset Railway - 11th August 2009

11th August 2009 was the 41st Anniversary of the famous 15 guinea Special and was also my 16th birthday! And for my birthday I was given a new tri-pod which I wanted for so long so I was given a chance to go out and give it a test run and this is what I got out of it.

The WSR was running there gold timetable as it was the height of summer meaning 3 locomotives would be in action with the DMU.
The engines running were

4160
88
3850

We start of at Churchlands Bridge were we see 88 in the fantastic august sunshine with a train to Minehead. We then head of to a new location for me Bicknoller were 4160 is seen with a train for Bishops.

Next is 4160 again at Nornvis Bridge and Im so glad to finally get a fantastic shot of my favourite locomotive at this location.
Next we see 3850 in a rather unuasl shot at Nornvis.

Then seen again is 88 at Leigh Bridge with her last train of the day heading for Bishops then again is seen 3850 with her last train to Minehead.
