this one is a cutie and it made me laugh um just on Q? is ur lorikeet named bird as well ? lol i have a rainbow lorikeet and his name is bird lol and he acts in the same way lol loves playing and loves it when ppl are talking or wistling or playing with him lol

@smackc4 yes I have one very clever cockatiel here, over many years I had Canarys as a youngster, we did have a little corella called snowy and 2 galahs Lucky and Cocky Conway who were affectionate but as a child I was too scared to be bitten by them, Budgies became a favourite until I discovered how affectionate the cockatiel is and now the lorikeet bigger again than the cockatiel an so funny I can't wait to adopt one or two of the rainbow or scaly breasted

@mumandtwins Lorikeets and Parrots i general, are SO SMART; they'll keep you amused CONSTANTLY!

Make sure you give them LOTS of company and attention - they thrive on it and need it! :-)
