Jaylin is 17.
It's the summer before Joe's and Jaylin's Senior year.
(Kevin's PoV)
*Dreaming*
2-3 yr old Kevin: Mommy when you gonna have my bwotha?
a very pregnant Mrs. Jonas: Honey, you have Joe.
Kevin: No Mommy *frustrated*, the one in yo belly?
M.Jonas: Kevin this isn't our baby. Me and daddy don't want this baby.
*Kevin wakes up startled*
Our parents left us 2 1/2 years ago; they took Frankie with them. Now it's just me, Joe, and Nick. Well, Jaylin too, she's Joe's best friend and she is exactly eleven months and eight days younger than him. She is here all time, not that i mind; she is like a younger sister. I feel bad for her, her parents never wanted a baby girl so they gave her away. She has lived in a group home since, but recently moved into a foster home about a block and a half away.
*Jaylin walks through the front door*
Jaylin: Sup loser, where's Joe?
Kevin: Nothin much weirdo, he's out with his girlfriend (A/N- I don't have a name yet, due to contest.)
Jaylin: oh, well I am gonna put his sweatshirt in his room. *goes up the stairs*
Nick: Hey Jay!
Jaylin: Hey Nicky!
Nick: Well I am meeting Blah Blah, wish me luck! (A/N - not really her name, just don't have one yet due to contest)
Jaylin: You don't need luck! She's crazy if she don't feel the same.
*enters Joe's room, leaves sweatshirt on his bed, then walks back downstairs*
Jaylin: Well Kev, I'm off, Alexa and Brian (A/N - her foster parents) are taking me out to celebrate my being there for a month. Wooo-Hooo! *rolls her eyes*
Kevin: *chuckles* Have fun Jay, I will tell Joe you stopped by.
(back in Kevin's PoV)
That girl really is something else. She and Joe even each other out, they are a great match just not romantically, she really is like a sister.
