Alpine trad climbing on "the Lifting of Roi" in the Vallee Blanche, Mont Blanc on the 16th August 2011. The ten pitch 300 metre TD (-) route faces SE and catches the sun for most of the day. The broken and heavily crevassed approach passes close to and gives great views of the Tour Rond NF. The rock route climbs the stunning golden granite tower of Roi de Siam (3650m) and Petite Capucin. Surrounded by and next to the Grand Capucin, Trident du Tacul and Pic Adolph Rey you couldn't ask for a more stunning viewpoint. The route along with many others was climbed with Fi Chappell on our annual three month road trip to the Alps.

  • @gubocci Any suggestions for the music?

  • Really really good climbing, filming and editing! The music could be better suited to the atmosphere of a climb tho..
