Quite a memory Kath.

I remember that. I used to live in Harrison. I got kicked out during this ice storm. Sorry, but I really don't miss it there.

i love ice storms. they give the family time to bond.

WE live in batavia and we went to branson and stayed a few days when we came back a man that grandparents knew was cutting down branches and one fell on him and he died
-

yeah this was horrible. we live east of jonesboro in northeast arkansas and we were without power from feb 27th to march 21st. the first day really was scary seeing power lines to snap at every turn and tree limbs everywhere.

man a branch got so havey of ice that it fell on my grands car and i ended up playing my ds

heck yes! it was bad! ugh, sucked majorly. i have to agree with you. food, heat, SHOWERS, you didn't have much, if any of that at all, like the video said, even wal mart was closed! the limbs were scary as helll. crackin and breaking all through the night...

yeah i live near berryville arkansas and i had no power for two weeks and i was out of school for a week and a half. and all the limbs falling was horrible; my friend got her car smashed by a 60 year old oak tree. i live on a dirt road and we couldn't even drive through till we got the chain saw. the mess afterward was badddd. we went and stayed with my grandma who had pressurized water for showers and a gas stove, after we were able to get out. a ton of telephone poles just snapped in half..
ugh, we live out 311 in green forest and this sucked. i spent a day cutting trees out of the road to get to town and was suprised none fell on me. TO MUCH ICE!!

I am also in Harrison. The links apartments now have power, I went over there to a friends place to use his washer! Those of us who live outside the city limits are being told that we may know something about our power soon, but it could take up to 3 weeks.

The electric keeps going on and off for us. I hope you get power soon. We were told it would be shut down occasionally over the next 2 weeks. So keep that in mind.
