Who Lost Afghanistan?

When President Barack Obama ordered 17,000 more U.S. troops into Afghanistan last week, reactions I saw on both the left and the right left me unimpressed and wanting greater historical perspective as I show with the clips in this video.

The first clip comes from Michelle Malkin's appearance on Fox News' "Fox and Friends" on February 19, 2009.

The second clip comes from Rep. Maxine Waters' appearance on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" on February 20, 2009.

The third clip come from the Fox News broadcast of the first debate between Barack Obama and John McCain on September 26, 2008

Fine, if they were really destroyed in 1995, So when Georgie got the report of no WMD's, especially from his own, hand picked inspectors, that should have told him, "go no further" with an unwanted war. The dumb ass put us where we are today. Look up the # of times he raised the debt limit. Georgie himself had the national debt up over TEN TRILLION dollars in 2008. If none of you on the right are capable of being honest enough to admit that, please don't consider a shot at the presidency.

LiberalViewer - You are aware that the multinational corporations influence the U.S. government in regards to where and why the troops are sent? You do realize that keeping a foreign city, country - undermined, is what delivers cheaper goods, oil, products, to America?
