The Corkscrew Crown Sinnet is an innovative way to create a thick corkscrew pattern off the base of a crown sinnet. Above and beyond being new, the pattern is attractive and will astound, as well as confound, even the most avid paracorder (not in the know). Video production by JD of Tying It All Together.

  • Hey JD, I've been keeping up with your videos for a bit and i love them. I love the music you always use. Where did you find it? I'd like to download a lot of it. It's nice chill music.

Some of it I've been listening to for years. This video, for instance, features the music of a good friend of mine, David Shakiban. I also listen to and get music ideas from "Dave's Lounge" (podcast). And, I hit up long loved bands like Sigur Ros, Boards of Canada, Casino versus Japan, and the like.

  • JD, Thank you for sharing this with us. Not only have you found the time from your everyday work, working on your new movie, you have still found time to spread the knowledge of knot work. My appreciation goes out you. Again thank you. Sincerely: Your fan.

No matter what my week entails, I will stop to make sure a new TIAT video is produced. Best to you and all your ties. Hobbies last loner than movie production schedules.

  • Hey jd how owuld you go about to make tht into a bracelet would you just leave loose ends on both sides to tie it in or wht?

A corkscrew pattern would feel strange on the wrist (in my opinion). I consider this more of a key fob or luggage marker. Still, later this year (2010) I'm going to show you how to tie the Striped Crown Sinnet. This would make for a thick, but doable bracelet.

  • ,,,, Amazing work, simply a great new hobby of mine since I first saw one of your videos and ordered over the net my own paracord and let my imagination go wild !!!!!! so much appreciate all your efforts in teaching us all so many new knots and extra !!!! got a question, though, more out of curiosity .... "off video" do you make your knots on a faster pace ??? or is it, "taking our time" more to our enjoyment as I believe ??? ... greetings from troubled Greece ...

  • u got loads of time on your hands

  • I want to use this knot to make a dog leash. Do you have an idea for a formula to figure how much cord per finished inch? All suggestions appreciated.

  • I have never seen anyone make that simple knot any more confusing then you have..... Are you trying to make these knots look as confusing as possible because you are succeeding.

  • can i recommend music for moonlit soldier in future they would give the same feel but they are good songs :)
