Chauncey is a nice player, but to mention him in the same breath with Isiah is just wrong. Isiah is the best little man to ever play this game.

Found this one late but very glad to see it. Isiah is best PG in Piston history. Billups is #3. Dave Bing is #2! Even without a ring! Led the league in scoring as PG in his second year. One of 50 best players in league history.
Billups is an outstanding player and leader but he is far from the threat that either Isiah or Bing was. Wish Billups immense success with the Knicks and beyond!

Chauncey ain't shit on Isiah

@Cbillupsfan4life Denver was NOT getting swept out of the playoffs "every year", they got swept out once and the last time I remember once does not constitute as "every year".
The Pistons have suffered more than just losing their star PG and yes, losing Chauncey has had an affect but you (and a lot of other people) are not looking at the bigger picture. This team wouldn't be much better than what they are right now even if we did get Chauncey back for nothing.

@diablo313 They may have been a playoff team, but they were eigth seed every year! And getting swept in the first round. He led them once out of two years, last year they would of went all the way if injuries weren't a factor and if George Karl didn't get cancer. And he pretty much single handedly turned that team around, he was the new addition, and look what happened to Detroit when he left, they feel apart. So that shows how BIG of a role Chauncey Billups is too a team. ;)

@Cbillupsfan4life That's good. How many times did he lead them to the WCF?
Were they not a playoff team before he got there? I'm sorry I didn't know the Nuggets were worst team in the Western Conference and Billups single-handedly turned that team around into a team that gets eliminated in the first round.
He's such a great leader, he can't even keep the marquee player of that team on the roster.
-
@diablo313 He turned the Nuggets around and led them to the Western Conference Finals. SMH, can't individually turn a whole team around? well he did. just saying.
-
I love both players ... . Isaiah is maybe a top 10 player all time in the NBA .. Chauncey might make the HOF but only if he gets the Nuggets a title ..
-
@cbillsallday lol @ Iverson fanboy...I wish you would put money on that bet, you would be in the poor house.
Never hated on Chauncey, only gave the simple truth about him. I feel Chauncey is a very good player but he's not a player that can individually turn a team around.
I'm taking it you feel Isiah is the best player in Pistons' history and Chauncey follows? If that's the case, that was the whole point of my original statement, glad to know you agree and your argument was a pointless.

@diablo313.... it was an mental error when I said "point" I meant to say "prominent" NBA player. ....And I have watched Chauncey since he was with the Timberwolves and was estatic when he went to my favorite NBA team- The Pistons. STOP hatin on Chauncey and show him the respect he deserves. I bet you are an Iverson fanboy.
FACE REALITY.. .Chauncey is the second best player in PISTON history so STFU!!!!
Amazing ....5 stars!!!!!
