after endless trip to the home improvement store, the garage door and garage door opener are finally connected and working together...now I just need some remotes so I can use it :D

  • thanks guys, but I have plenty of controllers for it (BTW it's a Craftsman/Chamberlain opener and it uses the "blue button" remotes)

    now if someone has a WIRED keypad controller for it I'd be interested

  • @Chicagolandhobby I think it's a Stanley, so he just needs a 1050 or similar.

  • Looking from the back of the garage door opener, on the right side of the power head, there should be a small hatch that says something like "control hatch." Open that and inside you will see a button, either green, orange, or purple. If you tell me which color it is, I can send you a link to the kind of remote(s) you would need for your opener.
