  • Good video. I also build my boxes using a rabbet joint. They are cut out on the table saw, fitted over a square jig (another box inside the one I am making), and nailed together with 3"x.131 galvanized nails (holes are predrilled). This can be done at a rate of one box per 10 minutes of time. I will be adding the glue in the future since I'm impressed with your comments about the strength of the glue. I like your handles better than my 1x2's nailed to the side of the box. Thanks for info!

  • god u most make alot of money as collecting the honey or have a diff job that makes alot, i wish the hive makers would take in cosideration not many teen have the money to start this luckly i have scraped enought money to get a hive next year, amout 300 for hive and bees and then 100-500 for extractors and so on.. ill try doing most of this stuff wen im a little older and have time very neat

  • I tried to make finger (box) joints with a Sears Dovetail joint jig. After 6 hours I was ready to hang myself. I decided locking Rabbits are the way to go too! Great video. Thanks.
