Burgess hit at the end is probably one of the hardest, least recognized hits in football. I love the quote though. That really just the kind of day it was. Notre Dame getting smacked every time they tried to get something going.

Yeah, it was painful alright. Henne threw that game away what with his fumble at the one yard line and his interception in the redzone in the 3rd quarter. Michigan-and especially Henne-handed that game to ND on a silver platter.
Oh well. Lukcily for us, that 2005 game will be the last time we lose to the Fightless irish for awhile. We're going to crush them yet again next season, and I really don't think they'll even make it a game with us until Charlie Weis gets out of town

Y'know, now that I'm listening to it on headphones, I may have been a little hard on Pat. You could conceivably tease 'Woodley' out of what he said on the fumble return replays...
