The Winter's Tale---very beautiful! thumbs up!!

I remember this from something.. Don't know what though.. Maybe something with Pacino? :P

the actual short prose is Pandosto by Robert Greene 1588
the 3+2 act stage play from that one is Shakespear The Winter's Tale 1610,
came in play print 1849 in Sweden,
as silent movie first time 1910 in US,
Trevor Nunn for instance was inspired by it around 1969, last on London stage 2001?
but this actual symphony orchestral work is however Lars Erik Larsson (died 1986) he was conductor at the Swedish Radio 1937-1954, which must have given him outstanding understanding for subtle nuances

What movie is this from?

The energy changes considerably from the opening andantino to this conclusion and the large string section is responsible for this. I enjoyed this set very much, thank you imusiciki.
Lovely music with a memorable Epiloque. Thank you for sharing.

Lovely work. I enjoyed hearing this. The only work of Larsson's that I'm familiar with is the Pastoral Suite.
