  • This is a piece of history, and a fabulous one at that. Dolly's first TV appearance, and who knew she would become a national treasure? And how much do we love that bionic behive? Long live queen Dolly!!!

  • This is simply brilliant! Gosh how I A-D-O-R-E Dolly! Love these old performances!

  • Its hard to believe this was Dollys first Top 25 Country hit and shes still going........LOVE YOU DOLLY

  • ... first appearance on NATIONAL TV. Dolly was discovered by grocer Cas Walker who hosted a local show in Knoxville, Tennessee, just a stone's throw from her hometown of Sevierville.

  • "Blondes buy more peroxide!" Dolly's always had that wicked self-deprecating sense of humor. It's one of the particularly endearing aspects of her persona.

  • SHE SING THIS SONG LIKE SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE TALKING ABOUT. I HAVE LEARNED, ALSO "THRU THE HARD KNOCKS OF LIFE"{ LIKE A LOT OF WOMAN I KNOW WOULD LEARN} NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOVED ONE PERSON, GAVE IT TIME, AND YOU WILL SEE THERE IS ANOTHER WAITING AROUND THE CORNER...BEING MUCH BETTER...

  • @91mssexy

she has amazing energy when she sings. The person who called her that, gave her the ammo for a great

    song!

  • I'm 11 and I LOVE Dolly Parton! My dad was 6 years old in the year this was filmed...and now he's 49! Dolly will be a forever legend all the way until the world ends! LONG LIVE DOLLY PARTON!

  • Dolly was born in 1946 which means she was 21 in this performance and I agree, naturally beautiful. Thanks for sharing :)

  • God save the Queen of Country.

  • Yikes this was filmed 2 years before "The Brady Bunch" started! I think Dolly was only in her early 30's here in 1967.
