Feeding Fussy Snakes Pre-Killed Food - "The Magician's Method"

Thread a needle with magician's thread (thread that is pretty much invisible), hook the prey and move it like a string puppet as realistically as possible to attract the snake. Once the snake is eating, pull the thread out through the prey, wipe thread and needle with an antiseptic wipe and save the needle with the thread on it for later. Have never owned snakes but have read about the problems with some snakes only eating live food - and with live feeding being illegal in some places this could be a problem. I've read about some people dressing dead prey up and moving them on sticks etc. and it not always working. Maybe this method will help, in conjunction with warming prey to body temperature.
