An interesting Newsreel footage from 1932, showing a concert in Sydney, Australia, with eight female pianists playing Rachmaninov's Prelude on eight pianos at the same time. I never heard or seen anything like this...anyone knows What this was?

  • I've seen some pretty ridiculous things in my life---but THIS! This takes the cake!

Oh well, it was 1932 so they can be forgiven. Nobody would be dumb enough to do this today, thank God.

is the conductor acting out some weird fetish or something?

  • @MrRicksStudio no difference

  • @gaemp It's a British newsreel.

  • this is how Americans make a Circus of everything.... simply stupid.

  • ...why...if there was a better recording I might be able to appreciate this better, but I just don't see the point here.

  • hahah, this reminds me of a sizuki school video of a bunch of asian girls playing Jeux d;eau simultaneously on stage. look it up, its the same idea. im not sure what for tho, what ever happened to individuality? lol

  • lmao fun
