When i was a teenager, which was 30 years ago. I was caught in an abyss of drug addiction and alcoholism. I had been suicidal for a while thinking of how to "do it". Then one day I heard this song and I thought it was God talking to me. The line, "Let me show you the nearest signpost" stuck me like lightning. With the motivation provided by this song I sobered up, got help, and have lived a happy and productive life since. Thanks Roger...you are the best!
