Intro Speech by Rabbi Jeremy Stern at the Rally Against Aharon Friedman

The introductory speech from a protest rally in Silver Spring, MD organized on December 19th, 2010, by the Organization for the Resolution of Agunot (ORA). The rally was against Aharon Friedman, who is withholding a Get (writ of Jewish divorce) from his wife, Tamar, in order to force her to change their daughter's visitation schedule to the detriment of the child. The couple is already civilly divorced, and withholding the Get is both against Jewish law and a form of domestic abuse.
