A cognitive enhancer is a substance that enhances mental functions such as concentration and memory. The first synthetic cognition enhancers to see widespread use were the amphetamines of which Adderall is one.

Adderall is a brand-name pharmaceutical psychostimulant composed of mixed amphetamine salts, which is thought to work by increasing the amount of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain. Adderall is widely reported to increase alertness, concentration and overall cognitive performance while decreasing user fatigue.

Adderall is also reportedly widely used as a "study drug" at many American and British universities. Adderall is reported to help focus energy and concentration to a much higher level than normal. It enables the user to focus and stay awake. Stories of students writing papers continuously for an unusually long time, or "cramming" all night for an exam with no loss of energy or concentration are common.

What people are forgetting to mention is the terrible side effects that come with adderall. I have been taking adderall for nearly 3 years, and i deal with bad sad effects each time i take it. Refusal to eat, stomach pain, excessive sweating, etc. While it does help me with my grades alot, i wish there was an alternative with less negative side effects.

I marathoned 5 kilometers in 20 minutes then i took EPO and guess what i ran it in 17 minutes without even being tired.

20$ for 60 tablets? If i was to sell mine, id sell it for like 20$ a tablet lol. It works. I read like half my ethics book today. 2nd time on my prescribed adderall 40mg

prgrmy12 you definitly dont have ADHD if you think exercise cures it, or you simply have an extremely mild form or purely the inattentive type. i have the hyperactive type and because of it ive been known to all my friends as the natural tweeker, without my "stimulant" adderall medication i stay up for days. i already work out 2 hours a day, run a 6 min mile, bench 285 3 sets of 10 and i eat healthier than most people can imagine and that hasnt help so your idea wont work for everyone.

i did this shit for a year nd had the worst head ache at three in the afternoon. I did do a lot better in class, but I have done a complete 180 with my life and figured out, if you work out aerobic and anarobic, and have a healthy diet, you'll be able to concentrate just fine.

I just got prescribed Adderall (the generic form: Amphetamine Salts/combo) since I have ADHD-PI... I am not hyperactive whatsoever... but my mind races endlessly. This is only the second day I have been taking it, and I identify most with the girl at 5:01 ... I hope I never feel the need to mix this with anything else. This drug is just ridiculously powerful. In a good way of course.
