He was just starting to get hot with the A's last year 4 hr's in 5 games I think when he tore his quad. Amazing season with the A's while still healing in 2006 after they put cadaver bone in his foot. Unlikely but I'd like to see him make a great comeback in 2010 and go out on top. Some teams blew it this year choosing guys over Hurt to dh and their choses did terrible.

I met Frank Thomas when he was a rookie, I was 12 years old...he gave me an autograph and took a picture with him. Needless to say I hes my All time favorite player and a White Sox fan for life!

Big frank is one of the best right handed hitters of all time. He used the whole field better than almost anyone.

first time i ever saw him live at comerica park, it was snowing and he put one in the fountains about 450 ft away
