@marquiseacorbett Because your ankles are connected like joints, and ligaments hold it together, not muscle. Same thing with wrists. People with skinny wrists cant get them bigger, unlike arms and forearms

Why is it so hard for athletes to put weight on their legs????......because I do leg press and seated calf raises and my thighs and calf get bigger but my ankles stay small...I also see a lot of basketball players like this.
