Turning on the tap and watching clean water flow out is something that most of us take for granted. In many parts of the world, however, getting a glass of water isn't so simple. Accordingly, creative people are coming up with solutions to the problem of water scarcity around the globe. In Ghana, a team of engineers has developed a method by which humidity in the air can be converted into water. Scientists at NASA sent a device to the International Space Station that will allow astronauts stationed there to recycle their urine into drinking water. And, as seen in the latest video in GOOD's Look series, a village in South Africa has been transformed by the introduction of the Hippo Roller, an innovation that has changed the way water is gathered and transported. See more about that in Hippo Rollers, new today from GOOD Video.

Are you serious? These have been available for years. They are available at retail outlets in Australia, made in China and cost $600 and will give 20L a day. They have been built so big that they can provide many 1000's Litres per day.
