Ridley the Tegu 2

My second video of our baby, Ridley. This time he's in his new enclosure. I have no carpentry skills, so there are alot of holes that I had to patch with plastic sheeting and tape.
I did build a heat lamp into the enclosure itself complete with a dimmer. I also hung a UVB lamp inside for good measure. This enclosure should last a year or so before I build a new one. Maybe then, my carpentry skills will have improved enough so the next one won't suck as much.

not saying ur a liar about the uvb but are you sure its uvb because i thought uvb lights were blue you may have read on the box uva just saying

Well, the box says UVB. I've never heard of UVB giving off a blue light. The only ones I've seen are those night lamps to simulate moon light or something to that effect.

Yeah.  The black lamp you see is the UVB. The heat lamp is built into the roof of the enclosure.

by the way, the cage looks like an illegal genetic experiment from outer space! lol! but very nice! though a little bit concerned with the lamp! he could get electricuted if he climbs up the lamp

Yeah, I know it has flaws. I've never built anything before I did his enclosure. I'm looking to build a new one as soon as I have the time and money. He needs it anyway.
