Singer/Songwriter Alan Price sings "Is That All There Is?", from the late, great British director Lindsay Anderson's final film (also entitled "Is That All There Is?")

The setting is a party/memorial service aboard a chartered boat, celebrating the lives and careers of actresses Jill Bennett and Rachel Roberts - both dear friends of Mr. Anderson's. In attendance are many of the fine actors and actresses who regularly appeared in Mr. Anderson's films over the years.

The final credits also feature Alan Price.

  • when was this filmed?

  • God bless Alan Price.

  • Is the man with the glasses and cap Lindsay anderson?.

  • Alan, you look terrific. My hubby, Bob Barbara, was in a band called Dr. T & the Undertakers in the 60's and one of their songs was "I Put A Spell On You" and they got it from you. You might remember them. Now that I'm starting my career, I perform it also...my own version, of course, but I have listened to you sing it over and over and over again. Never get tired of it. God Bless and Love, Pat B.

  • @Concatelli - Thank you for posting this. I remember both actresses as well and trained at R.A.D.A. myself where they both trained (many years later).

Thank you also for the website details as Alan Price Online states he has no tour dates. It is the first one for google so this is a shame and perhaps you should try to get it and link it to your site.

I love the music and hope to catch him perform again if he plays London.

  • I LOVE THIS – IT SHOWS SO MUCH HUMANITY

  • Any chance of posting the rest of this film? I had it on video when it was broadcast, but alas the tape has long since vanished and I'd love to see it again!

Thanks for posting this beautiful final scene, anyway.

  • @grazzer123 that is amazing grazzer123, I just loved when he was with the Animals especially the song ( the house of the Rising Sun )
