Climate change is arguably the greatest governance challenge the world has ever faced. Transparency International has published the 2011 Global Corruption Report on Climate Change. It looks at the specific corruption risks posed by governments spending unprecedented amounts, through untested channels and often in countries with weak governance. The volume looks at adaptation and mitigation funding, market-based mechanisms such as carbon credits and global forestry initiatives.
