Ski Dubai in Dubai Emirates Mall started in December 2005 is the worlds third largest indoor ski slope, measuring 400 meters and using 6000 tons of snow. Ski Dubai resort is the first Dubai indoor ski slope to open.

@wippermannl well its in one of the hotest countries, in a mall and lots of people in u.a.e are rich so they dont mind the price + they're not used to big hills and faster lift so its fine with them. oh and the price includes entrance and equipment. I dont think they could hvae made it bigger i mean common its inside a mall!!

@inilledra $4/gallon for something like gasoline is a steal! For $4, you can put 5 or 6 people in the average American car and fill the trunk with luggage and go 25 miles in comfort and even air-conditioning! The energy embodied in a gallon of gasoline is equivalent to over 2000 man hours of physical labor. That's $0.25 a cup! We pay more for that than just about any other liquid! That's .25 cents for 125 man hours of work. Oil is so cheap it's practically free.

@inilledra I meant from a natural disaster or some other (maybe terrorist) event that causes them to lose power. A giant steel tube in the desert sun with temperatures at 114 can melt that snow pretty quickly.
