The final battle for Shin's route. Seems a bit unfair compared to the others, if you think about it.

Actually Shinn was having a mental breakdown, w/ hallucinations of Mayu, Stella and Freedom during the final battle. And it was very prominent early on their fight.

And in phase 43(where Athrun sliced Destiny's hand off), in the special editions, the director gave Shinn a flashback when Shinn "killed" Athrun, which shocks Shinn somehow, making him lose the clash.

that was only because all the crap that happened with the director,athrun was suppose to die in epiosde 36 or was he was gonna lose an arm.i was supporting shinn btw

I don't think there could be any moment where Kira cod actually "Kill" Shinn. Kira is too nice which means Shinn has the upperhand in any fight.

@Rober2 uugh, kira did try to after the first minute, but shinn was able to antisipate his moves, even if he did aim for teh vitals at the start it would just end out like when amuro and ramba ral fought. "you have accurate aim, but that makes it easy for me to predict your actions."

And because Kira got his *ss kicked, Kira got a better toy.

Plus Kira could easily kill him, but he was too nice; this is something Shin took advantage of... The moment Kira targets a vital spot, Shin wouldn't see it coming coz he'd always expect Kira to NOT kill him.

If Kira hadn't been focused on NOT killing him ANd not worry about the Arch Angel, he would've made it... then again, it's thanks to Shin for destroying the Freedom that Kira got the STRIKE Freedom
