  • what kind of set are you using? I wanna say pdp... but I can't really tell.

  • yeah, it is an mx 5 piece pacific drum kit which i don't think they are making anymore. it is a really nice kit tho and i can get some nice rich tones from it. i also am using a custom sjc snare which sounds amazing.

  • 24" Kickk?

  • Barak put more covers up

  • Hey dude heres a tip, when playing dont worry about the camera... just play like you would when you were practicing all alone. Just forget about the camera

  • indeed they are just aswell i will look into them and check out my options

  • yea dude coted heads just have a thicker deeper sound i love them. they also dont have a lot of over tone tuned correctly. i suggest evans g2 coated if your getting new heads. they are sick

  • naw dude

i have white coated remo heads they sound amazing although i will be switching to all black heads since my 805 is all black and will look fab...with them aswell they have a much thicker coating i have read up on and learned from playing on them aswell

although if you just now bought a 805 i suppose you hve really not crappy but ok stock heads they lastest me a week although ambassodors are the best heads remo or aquarians do just the same and make it sound AMAZING

  • do you have clear tom heads on your 805 ?

  • just trying to settle the argument for you guys.

  • the reason that they sounds different is because the pdp 805 is made out of birch which gives it more of a punchy sound and also amplifies the lower frequencies. my kit is made out of maple which has a bit of a brighter sound to it.

  • indeed i do

  • well do you have coated skins on your tombs? cause coated skins sound different.

  • true

  • no its because you're trying to sound like you're the master of drums and better than everyone else.

  • lol just because i explained the drums dont have similarities or the same sound makes me a PRICK???

    (get a life)

  • wow drummerhustla you sound like you'd be a prick to meet in real life.

  • haha indeed i was just telling you they are nothing is sound wise lol

  • Why I said.. "similar" implying.. atleast I was close on the brand lol.

  • WRONG the 805 is much more updated in everyway i have 805 and sounds nothing like those toms or anything everything is much more deeper i got the all black ones

  • Haha I have the same kit [ok well.. PDP 805 series.. so similar] set up the same, exactly the same lol.

  • yeah,,pretty o.k..you look tense

  • Dude very nice.

    Nice kit too.

  • this is amazing.
