Lake Superior in Canal Park Just Before April 2008 Blizzard

Lake Superior unleashes its fury just hours before a major blizzard is expected to arrive in Duluth Minnesota and the surrounding region. Winds are at about 18 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

dooalot thanks for the comment. After the waves would break on the shore the wind would carry the spray all the way into the parking lot located maybe 30 yds away or so.

The wind was SO strong, perfect for monster waves!!
