Umm Kalthoum in Paris "el atlal" 1

umm kalthoum sings" el Atlal",(after singing 'anta omri',not on this tube)in the "olympia"(most famous concert hall in france).This was her only concert in Europe,or maybe the whole west? I'didn't know how to improve the sound.The public couldn't believe that she was actually there, performing abroad the arab countries! she started singing on stage in 1922 but the first time she even used a microphone was in 1937 and ONLY agreed to use one after being convinced that it's the ONLY way her concerts can be broadcast over the radio

in 1932 in iraq they had a microphone on stage but she was offended and signaled with her hand for its removal.. also one time in aswan the mic was not working well so she had it removed and sang the entire concert without a mic for more than 3000 people
